We’re looking for a Social Sustainability Manager to help shape and deliver Nest’s approach to social sustainability, inclusion and positive social impact. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in translating our enterprise sustainability ambitions into practical action, measurable outcomes and meaningful change for our colleagues, members and wider communities.
Working closely with the Head of Enterprise Sustainability, you’ll lead and coordinate activity across areas including diversity, equity and inclusion, inclusion and belonging, social mobility, community impact, responsible workplace practice and social sustainability reporting. You’ll also support the integration of social sustainability into business decisions, procurement activity, governance, data and reporting.
This is a broad and influential role, requiring someone who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You’ll work with senior leaders, colleagues across the business, Inclusion Community co-chairs, external partners and procurement teams to build engagement, strengthen accountability and help embed inclusive and sustainable practices across Nest.
We’re looking for someone who is collaborative, evidence-led and passionate about creating positive social outcomes. You’ll be comfortable working with data, shaping programmes, influencing stakeholders and turning complex social sustainability priorities into clear, practical action.
The minimum criteria for this role are:
- Experience shaping, leading or delivering DEI, social sustainability, inclusion, organisational culture or related strategic programmes.
- Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders across a complex organisation.
- Strong analytical capability, including interpreting people and organisational data.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, business cases or governance papers for senior audiences.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
Don't worry if you think you don't have all the key skills, it might be worth taking the few minutes to apply as we're good at spotting potential. At Nest, you’ll have access to a range of learning opportunities to learn, grow and build the skills you need to be successful in your role and career.
