The Senior Financial Governance Manager is responsible for delivering effective, high-quality governance support within the Finance and Strategic Sourcing Directorate. The role will ensure continued compliance with the financial governance framework and support the ongoing development of financial operations, policies and controls to meet statutory, regulatory and internal standards. This includes monitoring and developing risk management processes, incorporating policies, procedures and internal controls to support sound decision making.
This role is the central contact point for financial governance, acting as a first line of defence whilst liaising closely with our risk team (second line of defence) as well as our internal and external auditors.
The role reports to the Director of Financial Planning and Governance within the Finance team.
